This challenge coin has been available to the platoon but is now available for all Tomb Guards. Your badge number is stamped between the feet of the Tomb Guard on each coin. If you do not have a badge number, you can either order them blank or use your initials. Each challenge coin measures 2'' in diameter. Coins may take 4-6 weeks to arrive. Minimum order is for 25 coins. These coins are sold at cost plus the cost of shipping from the vendor to you. The shipping is included in the price.

What happened to the soldier that was in the Tomb from the Vietnam War?
The remains of the Vietnam Unknown Soldier were exhumed May 14, 1998. Based on mitochondrial DNA testing, DoD scientists identified the remains as those of Air Force 1st Lt. Michael Joseph Blassie, who was shot down near An Loc, Vietnam, in 1972. It has been decided that the crypt that contained the remains of the Vietnam Unknown will remain vacant.
