This Tomb Guard Figure measures 2.75’’ high by 1.75’’ wide and has a shiny gold finish. The first run of challenge coins includes badge numbers 450-800 only. They are available for Tomb Guards and Legacy Members. If the first run of coins sells well, then a second batch of numbered coins will be ordered. You may order your badge number only. Those Tomb Guards without a badge number may order a coin with a number of 750-800.

What happened to the soldier that was in the Tomb from the Vietnam War?
The remains of the Vietnam Unknown Soldier were exhumed May 14, 1998. Based on mitochondrial DNA testing, DoD scientists identified the remains as those of Air Force 1st Lt. Michael Joseph Blassie, who was shot down near An Loc, Vietnam, in 1972. It has been decided that the crypt that contained the remains of the Vietnam Unknown will remain vacant.
